Grimes County Commissioners pass significant legislation regulating high speed rail in Grimes County. As with any other entity, high speed rail projects must now show proof of eminent domain before constructing any rail that passes over county roads. Earlier today Judge Trey Duhon announced that he is one of 32 Texas officials that joined together to send a letter to the Japan Ambassador telling him that we are opposed to the proposed High Speed Rail project from Dallas to Houston.
