Waller County Advocacy Group will be hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Waller High School.
This meeting will provide information on the next high voltage transmission line proposed for our area as well as tools to prevent it from intruding on Waller County.
In addition if you live in or near Waller County or in Waller ISD and are concerned about your land being taken by the proposed Texas Central Railway’s high speed train you are invited to attend this informational meeting.
Waller County residents have the unique opportunity to shape our county’s future. As land owners here and near our county line we are aware of impending growth from Houston’s overflow. The majority may not be directly affected, yet all will be impacted.
Before these things come to pass it is the goal of WCAG to unite our citizens in a county wide effort to bring our community together.
Don’t tell yourself you don’t have time or funds. We all are busy with our everyday lives, jobs, and children. If it affects your neighbor now, chances are you, your family and your property are not immune.
Together, we can be effective. We need your help. We want your input. Make plans to join us; you will be glad you did.
